How do I create a promotion in Magento?

Log in to Magento Admin. Click on Promotions –> Shopping Cart Price Rule. Fill in the fields; be sure to give the rule a Name and Description and decide whether or not you are choosing ALL Customer groups or not. In the General Information page in the coupon menu, select the Specific Coupon option.

Combine Magento 2 promotions plugins without losing profitability

Limit discounts in case the Magento promotion rules from several sources apply to the same item. This way, you don't need to check each and every possible discount source for overlaps and don't spend excessive amounts of money on ineffective special offers. The new algorithm compares the original price after Cart Price Rule discount with the original price after non-Cart Price Rule discount. Then, it chooses the value you need, including the "get special price in Magento 2," depending on Magento 2 discount module configuration.

Many nonstandard promotions

I've been using the extension for 3 years already. The main task was to customize promotions. If you want to have many nonstandard promotions, such module is must-have. I like flexibility and ease of use. In general such extension is must-have if you want to have many different promotions in your store.

What I like about amasty extensions is great support and regular updates. Discount breakdown added recently is very convenient. My special thanks for this feature. In general such modules are must-haves if you want to have many promotions. This one works fine and I think has more features than others on marketplace. Recommend.

Module is great it’s very easy now to manage my store, measure which discounts work. It’s very configurable and sometimes too much. Like I had troubles with buy x get n of y. Tried to set it up but something always got wrong. It got that sometimes I put one product to another promo and this one didn’t work. And you can't see it works or not until you try. I wrote support and they agreed it was too complex and fixed it now there’s no more conflicts. Thanks to support.

I used this amasty tool for magento 1, so when I decided to migrate to magento2 I purchased this app hoping it would be as great as its mother version. Fortunately, it lives up to my expectations! Yes, the module wasn't perfect at once, and yes - I had to apply to support. But these guys know what they do. Due to timely updates and a really qualified support team I finally got what I expected.
